I’m new to blogging, so right now I’m just getting my feet wet and figuring this whole thing out.  The name of this blog came from the common use of IMHO on message boards, on which I have spent FAR too much of my life arguing with people.  I would occasionally say to my hubby “in my humble opinion” when discussing something, and one day he quipped, “You mean in your never humble opinion?”  Ta-da!  Many of my opinions are actually quite humble, but this phrase is kind of like saying, “not to be rude…” because you only say that if you are about to say something really offensive.  I think if you have to say IMHO, it means that your opinion in this case is the exact opposite.  So, even though I am a somewhat opinionated kind of gal, mostly I just thought it was a great example of irony and sarcasm, two things I truly do love!

I know I need a new header for this thing… any good suggestions?  I was trying to avoid stealing from the interwebz, but my personal photo collection leaves something to be desired.
